Art Project Tabletops

The Mache Table has a Surface Made from Papier Mache

The Mâché table -- consisting of papier mâché as the table's top surface -- is a pretty unique table. The legs are the usual wooden table legs, however the top has been molded and created solely out of papier mâché, with no additives. Around 50 newspapers were used to create the table's surface, giving it an old school, youth-y kind of feel.

The Mâché table is water-resistant due to the lineseed oil paint that was shellacked over the surface of the papier mâché as the table's top surface top. This is a pretty creative way to manufacture a table!
