The Kitchen Sink Challenge Involves Eating a 2.5-Pound Cake

While there are plenty of food challenges for daring foodies, 'The Kitchen Sink Challenge' quite literally takes the cake.

The Kitchen Sink Challenge is the famed foodie challenge of The Kitchen at Universal Orlando Resort's Hard Rock Hotel. How the challenge works is that participants must finish a Kitchen Burger and one slice of Kitchen Sink Cake. While this may sound simple enough, the cake part will probably stump you. The burger is fairly standard, but the Kitchen Sink Cake is a massive dessert that takes three days to create. Just one slice of the cake is 2.5 pounds and boasts seven layers of vanilla chiffon, chocolate, chocolate chunk cookies, vanilla cheesecake, pecan pie, peanut butter crunch, and brownies. Naturally, the whole thing is topped with ganache, whipped cream, and some chocolate and caramel syrups.

Only 12 people have successfully crushed both dishes, but that doesn't mean people have stopped trying.
