Film-Themed Photoshoots

The Brunch Club Vogue China Editorial is Modeled After a Cult Classic

The Brunch Club editorial is currently being featured in the December 2014 issue of Vogue China. In the photoshoot taken by Benny Horne, models Chiharu Okunugi, Manuela Frey and Marine Deleeuw posed together much like the cast of the film The Breakfast Club.

Stylist Gillian Wilkins made each of the women stand apart in the images. Selected by Wilkins were loose fitting trousers, tiered shorts and an assortment of floral dresses, all of which popped out amid pale backdrops and the oceanside view.

Despite the natural landscape, Wilkins also incorporated a series of dark leather pieces and militaristic button up jackets. She thus merged dissimilar motifs, making this production all the more striking, especially while in the presence of clear skies and pristine waters.
