Strolling Style Photoshoots

The New York Times T Magazine The Big Easy Editorial Marches Along

The New York Times T Style Magazine editorial titled The Big Easy will be displayed in the publication come September 2014. Photographer Craig McDean assembled the eccentric production which focuses on fashion via models Vanessa Axente and Lexi Boling.

Though most akin couture images shed light upon sultry, posing models, both Axente and Boling instead stroll about in the snapshots. This adds a sense of movement to the pictures as the women showcased wide strides, each one more defined than the last.

Adding to the unusual elements present in The Big Easy were the visionary ensembles of fashion editor Joe McKenna. Selected by McKenna were giant oversize jackets, free flowing wide legged pants and trench coats featuring thick turtle necks.
