Terry Richardson's Charlotte Free Shots are Pretty in Purple

Punk rock meets high fashion in Terry Richardson's Charlotte Free photoset, shot at his studio on the Bowery in New York City. The young model made a splash at New York Fashion Week in early 2011, with her bright bubblegum-pink hair noticeable a mile from the runway.

Now sporting purple locks, the 18-year-old shows off some grungy 1990s-inspired looks for Terry in this shoot. My favorite shots are the simple ones, showing Charlotte looking straight at the camera and caught in the breathtakingly gorgeous natural light, rather than doing a silly pose -- as charming as those ones are.

If you hadn't seen this up-and-coming model's work before, Terry Richardson's Charlotte Free shots will definitely turn you into a fan of the grunge-loving hipster queen. The only upset in this shoot, for me, is the fact that I don't own any of her "totally rad" t-shirts.
