Dip-Dyed Indigo Sneakers

Tenue De Nîmes Joined with Converse for a Pair of Hand-Dyed High-Tops

A boutique that's based in Amsterdam, Tenue de Nîmes, is one of Converse's most recent partners. Together, they adapted a pair of the American footwear company's most beloved classic models, the 'Chuck Taylor All Star 70s.'

Tenue de Nîmes and Converse also enlisted the expertise of Celia Geraedts, an artist from Blue Print Amsterdam. According to HYPEBEAST, she was responsible for treating the sneakers "in natural Indigo from India during a production process that took four dips, four washes and four hours, giving every pair a unique finish."

The end result is both elegant and distressed, with the sneakers filled with fine details that make them wholly individual. Those wishing to purchase the collaboratively adapted high-tops can find them at Tenue de Nîmes' store, as well as online.
