McDonald's Opened a Tech-Infused Concept Restaurant in Michigan

This past summer, a McDonald's re-opened as a tech-infused concept restaurant in Wyandotte, Michigan, which enabled consumers to "experience of the future" of the fast food industry.

The location was renovated to include self-ordering kiosks, table-side service and unlimited french fry offerings, making for the perfect food-fueled family outing. Although the brand has rolled out self-ordering kiosks in several of its American locations, this particular technology was equipped with hundreds of customizable options, offering niche food combinations to please children and adults alike. With the new kiosks, consumers can browse menu offerings and customize their burgers, sandwiches and drinks to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

To maintain the contemporary interior, the location also added an interactive playground that's complete with digitized games and interactive light board tables for kids. According to the brand the "new restaurant puts control in the hands of customers by evolving how they order, how they pay and how they are served."
