Helmut Lang's Three-Piece Line Features a Taxi-Themed Capsule

When one thinks of New York, one of the first things that come to mind is the city's iconic yellow taxis, so Helmut Lang created a NYC taxi-themed capsule collection, which pays homage to the iconic yellow vehicles.

In 1988, Helmut Lang made advertising history as the first designer to be featured in an ad on top of a taxi. This month in New York, 275 taxis branded with the designer's name will be circulating throughout the city, celebrating the Helmut Lang's history, while promoting the new collection.

The collection is comprised of a yellow hoodie, a black hoodie and a white long-sleeved graphic tee. The minimalist looks feature vibrant color palettes that boast simple phrases, such as "Taxi" or the designer's name.
