Tattooed Timber Chairs

The Tattoo Chair by the ‘Cookie Bros’ is Seriously Inked

The tattoo chair by ‘Cookie Bros’ is made of solid ash wood and laden with old school tattoo motifs. The nature of the wood gives the chair a rustic edge and the addition of ink amplifies the unusual appearance of the design. As a whole, the chair seems a little rebellious and is reminiscent of doodling in ink on the surface of a school desk. It is almost enticing enough to make you want to add your own markings to the chair.

The chair features the work of American tattoo artist Daniel O. Sawyer, and is aptly named the ‘Danny Boy Chair.’ Unlike the permanence of a tattoo, the design of the chair itself is quite flexible, equipped with several removable parts that serve different functions, like height-adjustable arm rests and table-like extensions.
