Tamworth Garden Watermelon Flavored Gin is Ready for Cocktails

The Tamworth Garden Watermelon Flavored Gin has been announced by Tamworth Distilling of Tamworth, New Hampshire as the perfect tipple for consumers to pick up this summertime.

The spirit is characterized by its low-proof profile that's formulated with the essence of summertime in mind to provide sippers with notes of watermelon, lime, mint, dry coconut, hibiscus tea and juniper. These flavors combine to achieve the perfect spirit for summertime cocktails, while also being suitable for sipping on its own or with sparkling water. The spirit has a zero added sugar formula and is arriving perfectly to coincide with National Watermelon Day (August 3).

Distiller Matt Power spoke on the Tamworth Garden Watermelon Flavored Gin saying, "In our ongoing commitment to using the freshest seasonal produce with no, or close to zero waste, we use the entire fruit – rind and all! Whole vine-ripened watermelons are pressed in a heritage wine press and the juice is used to lower the proof instead of water. By utilizing the entire fruit, the sweetness of the bright pink flesh is balanced out by notes of cucumber from the rind. Any fruit waste is then fed to local livestock."
