Tailored For Education Sews Uniforms For Children In Need

Tailored for Education is a non-profit organization that provides hand-sewn school uniforms for children whose families cannot afford to provide them with one.

Co-founders Megan Kelly and Jessica Roy began to design the uniforms in an effort to increase the number of kids enrolled in school and to leverage education as a means to lift the underserved out of poverty.
The company works on a donation basis and provides school-approved clothing for students who cannot afford to purchase the attire they are required to wear to attend class.

Based out of Boston, the organization partners with NGOs that work in areas such as Cambodia and Malawi so that the uniforms are manufactured and distributed locally and benefit the local economy.
