Tactile Smartphone Designs

This Concept ASUS Diverges From the Minimalist Mobile Movement

There is a trend towards the production of quite rectangular, thin and featureless mobile phones, which this tactile smartphone design aims to follow in the first two respects. While the shape of the modern cellphone seems to be working for users, Mladen Milic proposes a design with more visible, physical features that can make the device more intuitively functional.

Four buttons on the bottom of the 'ECCHELLON X One' enable the user to navigate between screens with more clarity and ease. Meanwhile, a few major components are worked into the back of the handset: a fingerprint reader is positioned prominently beneath the camera and flash. Finally, you can completely disconnect one corner of this tactile smartphone to more easily your SD and SIM card.
