Table Topography

The River Collection by Greg Klassen Is Inspired by the Natural Patterns

Although it would be easy to say that the table topography making up the River Collection is inspired by the flow of rivers, it is acutally influenced "by the exciting edges and vivid grains found in the trees sustainably taken from the banks of the Nooksack River," writes the designer, Greg Klassen. This river happens to be right below his Pacific Northwest studio. No wonder he has designed table topography.

The character-filled grains have been expertly separated to include hand-cut glass pieces that meander through the middle of each table topography. Visually striking, the edges of these glass inserts even look like beachy banks, which give the table topography a realistic appearance. They add a sculptural touch to the home.
