Saint Hoax Has Captured Syrian Refugees as Disney Princesses

Middle Eastern artist Saint Hoax ventured to Akkar, Lebanon to host a Disney-themed princess party for young Syrian refugees. The princess party was held in a part of an artistic project called 'Once Upon a War.'

Hosted at a refugee camp, Once Upon a War had a very playful dress code. Young girls from the age of two were dressed in gowns like the ones Aurora, Belle and Cinderella wore. Hoax explained that Disney princesses are deemed as a "beacon of hope" for most young women and wanted to bring that same hope to the lives of these Syrian refugees.

In addition to capturing various young girls in Disney couture, Hoax also allowed them to take over his Snapchat account where they told their own stories and shared their daily life.
