The collection is comprised of a variety of contemporary streetwear designs that are created from cotton-based yarn derived from pre-loved clothing. ALYX works directly with Recover Tex—an upcycled textile system that utilizes an entirely chemical-free and waterless technique to reduce waste and unnecessary resource expenditure. The process creates "regenerated cotton fiber from recycled garments and reclaimed plastic bottles," and "produces yarn for new fabrication."
