ALYX Launched a Sustainable Line with Upcycled Yarn

Recently, ALYX revealed its Spring/Summer 2018 men's collection titled 'Halcyon Blvd' and now the label is launching 'ALYX Visual' with a styled sustainable fashion photoshoot. The collection is comprised of a variety of contemporary streetwear designs that are created from cotton-based yarn derived from pre-loved clothing. ALYX works directly with Recover Tex—an upcycled textile system that utilizes an entirely chemical-free and waterless technique to reduce waste and unnecessary resource expenditure. The process creates "regenerated cotton fiber from recycled garments and reclaimed plastic bottles," and "produces yarn for new fabrication."

The ALYX Visual sustainable fashion photoshoot features cinematography-rich shots that capture a grainy and retro ambiance, which also goes hand-in-hand with the message of the upcycled clothing.
