Muaro Peruccheti's Disarming Life-Sized Sculptures

The work of Mauro Peruccheti is brilliantly strange and I totally adore it. Amazing once enlarged to giant size, the bullets (image 5) appear less threatening and more sculptural. Similarly, his grenade piece (image 7) turns these dangerous weapons into something you would quite like to see in your bathroom.

His pieces also have a really strong sense of humor, such as the silver soldier Oscar statue piece which is entitled "And The Award Goes To."
