The Super-Lite Classic Lamp Gets its Lampshade from its Lengthy Cord

It takes little more than a light globe and an power cord to make a functional and fabulous light fixture, and the Super-Lite Classic and Freestyle prove it. These basic pendant lamps have their electrical cables to thank for their unique designs.

Dreamed up by Jennie Peiz and Yvonne Fehling of Kraud, the pieces each comprise a 16 Watt lightbulb that's suspended from a lengthy wire, wrapped in soft and shiny satin. You can purchase the Classic with either a silver, a gold or a white cord and the Freestyle with bright yellow or blue.

Unless you have palace-scale high ceilings, you will discover that you've got a greater cable extension than necessary. The Super-Lite Classic is shown with it whimsically wrapped around like a beehive, creating a lampshade and focusing the light downwards.
