Honda's Super Cub Concept Pays Tribute to the 1958 Super Cub

The Honda Super Cub Concept is an all-new prototype vehicle that appears to take generous inspiration from the original 1958 Super Cub, even if the exact specs of the petrol engine are yet to be revealed.

The 1958 Super Cub was a huge commercial success worldwide, ultimately attaining coveted cult status in many parts of southeast Asia. In fact, the bike's design was copied by several Asian motorcycle manufacturers. Indeed the Super Cub and its successors have accounted for well over 87 million motorbike sales worldwide until 2014, making it a contender for the title of most popular two-wheeler ever.
