Princess Cruises has announced the launch of its newest ship called the 'Sun Princess.' The bespoke vessel is also the largest to ever be offered by the company; it will accommodate more than 4,000 guests.
In addition to premium stateroom accommodations and multi-story dining rooms, the Sun Princess offers stunning onboard views, spacious and luxurious venues, and one-of-a-kind entertainment offerings. Aesthetically, the new cruise ship features a design that is said to be inspired by the Seawitch icon, which was made famous by the original 'Love Boat television series. As a result, the vessel boasts clean lines, smooth surfaces, and expansive terraces.
"Sun Princess is a new and bespoke ship platform, designed to simultaneously embrace Princess heritage while boldly pressing into the future with iconic, elegant and pure lines unique to our brand," said John Padgett, Princess Cruises president.
