Canada’s National Ballet School Announced a Block Party on June 4

Canada’s National Ballet School recently announced the launch of a summer block party at its Toronto campus on Saturday, June 4 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The free inaugural celebration aims to give back to the community with family-friendly performances, programming, and refreshments. The event includes drop-in introductory dance workshops for all ages, behind-the-scenes rehearsals, "pop up" dance performances, a DJ, food trucks, and more.

"Dancing opens doors to a deeply exciting range of opportunities. This Block Party is part of our vision to open NBS’ doors to the wider community and make the power of dance accessible for everyone," said Mavis Staines, Artistic Director and CEO of Canada’s National Ballet School. "Whether you are trying dance for the first time, or have years of experience, we look forward to coming together for a day of fun and accessible festivities to celebrate the many ways that dance can be shared to build well-being and connection."
