Developed by Copenhagen, Denmark-based CPH containers, these low-cost student homes are constructed out of recycled 12-meter shipping containers. These dwellings feature paper-wool and wood fiber insulation, and come equipped with automatic ventilation systems. But perhaps the standout feature of the home is the polycarbonate winter garden which promises warmth on sunny days. CPH Containers says it plans to build as many as 2,000 of these student housing dwellings in the next three years.
