Vibrant Abstract Graffiti

Street Artist Momo Work Could Be Shown in a Traditional Art Gallery

Street artist Momo does not deal in the cute or even in the controversial like some of his fellow graffiti artists. Instead, he creates stunning abstract pieces that could very well belong in a prestigious art gallery. He has, however, chosen to grace urban settings and brick walls with his works of art.

Hailing from San Francisco, California, and currently living in New York City while keeping a studio in New Orleans, street artist Momo may work predominantly outdoors with homemade tools, yet he does have the occasional exhibit. MOMO in 74 Pieces is his latest solo show. According to his website, street artist Momo's striking work "demonstrates a minimalist postering technique free of printing."
