Company plans to revamp the rules of internet access

A little-known company called Storja Tech has announced that it has big plans to shake up the internet world, by making it easier than ever for people to access the internet.

Storja Tech took out an ad in the L.A. Times in which it informed the likes of Apple, Microsoft, Google and Facebook that its new product "will completely change your industry and hundreds of others" by creating "a completely new form of the internet" that can connect physical and non-physical entities.

Sound like sci-fi? There's more. In a press release that sounded as epic as it did vague, Storja Tech claims that its mystery product - named "Project R" - will be rolled out in 2015 and will allow data to be transferred at unprecedentedly high speeds.

Storja Tech goes on to add that its intention is not to replace existing internet and cell phone providers, but to compliment existing infrastructure and make it easier for more people and companies to access the internet.

Implications - Storja Tech’s press release has been doing the rounds on the internet and getting people talking on Twitter. Interestingly, its Twitter account is only a week old. I’m going to stick to my existing internet and cellphone provider, thank you very much!
