If the material is used at all, it is exclusively for covering over the structural skeleton of a building. However, stone is a beautiful and strong resource, and Stone Matters aims to prove that to the architects of the region.
Visually, Stone Matters isn't exactly aligned with its conceptual raison d'etre. Though the structure is meant to show the value of stone as a traditional material, it looks strikingly modern, with a lattices dome that is complex and variable depending on the angle at which one views it.
