Superimposed Monochromatic Snapshots

Stockholm Magazine's Autumn/Winter 2012 Images Are Layered

The Stockholm Magazine Autumn/Winter 2012 issue features the 'Fall Fever' editorial. Models Aline Wever, Shu Pei, Nimue Smit and Hailey Clause all merge together in a literal sense via superimposed images here, standing next to one another in this monochromatic display.

Photographer Kai Z Feng is the mastermind behind these layered black and white portraits. The cut and paste nature of the production made for interesting contrasts, pitting the looks of each model against one another. Ensembles were similarly contrasted on behalf of stylist Tom Van Dorpe. Dorpe's choice of tasseled boots, sleek open sandals and dark blazers are certainly appropriate for fall, even if these pieces are no doubt home to only the most couture of store racks.
