Childish Political Drawings

Stephen Floyd Points Out Serious Political Problems With Light-Hearted

I'm a sucker for comical illustrations and I have a particular soft spot for Stephen Floyd. The hilarious artist will be having a solo exhibition of his collection of work titled, "I Love America and America Loves Me" at the Heist Gallery in Manhattan next week.

CoolHunting.com describes Stephen Floyd's drawings as an exploration of "the mundane, the socio-political and the sexually charged through disarming humor that borders on juvenile but never sinks into vulgarity." While his drawings are humorous, once the laughter fades the viewer is left with the notion of some of the very serious problems that the USA is currently facing.

Take a look at some of his maturely childish works in the above gallery.
