The Stella Lux Has a Range of Over 1,000 Kilometers

The Stella Lux is an ingeniously engineered and designed solar car, developed by a group of Dutch students, that isn't merely powered by solar energy but actually generates more energy than it needs to use. This family car can comfortably seat up to four people. Designed to be energy-efficient yet comfortable, the vehicle is set to compete in the World Solar Challenge in Australia.

This family car generates electricity via 62.4 square feet of solar cells and also has an additional battery capacity of 15 kilowatt-hours. On a full charge, it is capable of providing a range of over 1,000 km, and has a top speed of 125 km/h.

In addition to its solar-powered mechanisms, the car features a whole range of other high-tech options that make it a true vehicle of the future.
