ToiletPaper and MSGM Collaborate to Create an Artistic Fashion Collection

ToiletPaper, an audacious Italian image-only magazine, is making their mark in the clothing business, using their images to create statement sweatshirts. At Milan Men’s Fashion week, the magazine launched its first collaboration with Italian fashion label MSGM. The line of unisex sweatshirts are emblazoned with ToiletPaper’s bold imagery (picture a gold eyelash curler about to clamp down on a pair of lashes). The partnership marks ToiletPaper’s desire to expand its impact beyond the page. "We are interested in trying out our images in different mediums" says co-founder Pierpaolo Ferrari. "We discovered that a toad in a sandwich works just as well on a sweatshirt."

Massimo Giorgetti, founder of MSGM, has always been inspired and entertained by the images in ToiletPaper, and sees many similarities between the images and his own work. The collaboration celebrates a union between fashion and contemporary art, and the result is a distinctive style. These limited-edition sweatshirts range from $250 to $500 and can be purchased online from designer fashion sites Lane Crawford, Ssense, Opening Ceremony and The Corner.
