The Google Stadia Controller Will Have Bluetooth Audio

Google has announced that its Stadia controller will be able to support Bluetooth audio. The information came as a result of an AMA that the company did on Reddit, where the Director of Product for Stadia, Andrey Doronichev, answered questions about the Stadia platform. It was started that Bluetooth support would not be available for the initial launch, but that support will be added later to the Stadia controller.

Bluetooth compatibility may not be initially released for the controller. However mobile users will be able to connect Bluetooth headphones to a mobile device to access Bluetooth audio. This could function as a workaround for mobile gaming until Google Stadia releases the Bluetooth connection for the controller.

It was also revealed that the controller will have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
