Stacy's Pita Chips Uses QR Codes to Share a Women-Owned Business Directory

Stacy's Pita Chips conducted a Rise of the Female Founder survey earlier this year and found that "67% of consumers wish it were easier to find products and services from female-founded businesses and 79% think it is important to see more female-founded businesses in their communities." As a result, the brand is introducing innovative new packaging that includes a QR code that can be scanned to locate nearby female-founded businesses.

The limited-edition snack bags, called Stacy's "Female Founder Finder" bags, feature artwork by illustrator Libby VanderPloeg. As well as tapping into the popularity of contactless packaging, the products make it easy for consumers to support small business owners. The Female Founder Finder directory can also be found online and it features thousands of women-owned businesses.
