'Square Order' Allows You to Order Take-Out from Your Mobile Phone

The process of ordering and picking up take-out food just got a whole lot simpler due to the release of 'Square Order,' an app that lets consumers monitor their take-out meals from their phones.

The American mobile payments company 'Square' came up with the app to support restaurants of all sizes and at all locations, while simultaneously making lunch breaks more efficient nation-wide. No-longer are the days of spending half of your lunch break waiting in line for food; the service allows users to pay for food tabs directly from their smartphones and notifies them when their order is ready.

Many "order ahead" services have recently made appearances on the market, but because Square already supplies merchants with payment systems, there is no need for extra fees or a third party. Currently the app is available to those living in NYC and San Francisco, but it is bound to pick up in other cities quickly.
