This series featuring the infamous Champ -- the Golden Retriever -- depicts the canine in heartwarming spring time photos cuddling up with baby chicks.
Champ's owner, Candice Sedighan shared her photos on social media platforms, and is quickly being enjoyed and shared by everyone. Sedighan bumped into a man who was giving away a box of chicks and gave them to her hoping she would find them a home.
She carefully introduced Champ to them to see how he would react, and after curiously inspecting them, Champ gave them a warm and adorable welcome.
Sedighan admits that her goal with these photos is to prove that senior dogs (Champ is 11) can be cute and playful too. Puppies are adopted more quickly in shelters, but Sedighan want to inspire people to have a change of heart, and to welcome home senior dogs just as acceptingly.
