Wild Bunch Film Company is Making a Spring Breakers Sequel

"Spraang break forever," or at least long enough for a Spring Breakers Sequel. A film company called Wild Bunch announced yesterday that they would be bringing a sequel of Spring Breakers with them to the Cannes Film Festival.

The sequel will be tentatively titled Spring Breakers: The Second Coming. The film is supposed to be equally as outlandish and wild as the first, but this time around, it will center around a new cast of wild teen girls. The plot consists of the girls going up against a group of Christians who are trying to convert them.

Wild Bunch co-chief Vincent Maraval told Screen Daily that "It’s not a direct sequel although there are allusions to some of the characters in the original." Let's hope that they bring back Rif-Raf (played by James Franco) or at least include an equally as comical character.
