AMC and Sony Pictures are offering a new incentive for people to return to the movie theater with Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets that come with NFTs (non-fungible tokens.) There are 86,000 NFTs that will be given away to those who pre-order tickets to the newest film in the Spider-Man franchise. There are 100 unique designs that have been created by award-winning animation studio Cub Studios and in the case that all of the NFTs haven’t been given away, film-goers can get a redemption code on December 22 that they can use by March 1, 2022.
The digital assets set themselves apart by being collectibles on a certified carbon-neutral blockchain, Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX,) which is energy-efficient.
