Mega Compact Eco Cars

Capca

Move over, Smartcar. There may well be competition with this concept car called the Capca. Like the Smart Car it saves a ton of space and is environmentally friendly. Unlike the Smartcar, the occupants are seated in sequence making this car narrower. The Capca is supposed to be powered by electric engines which drive the back wheels. In order to keep the car's profile even narrower, the back wheels tuck in together in the park position.

The futuristic design by Russian designer Anatoly Shikhov will have a transparent monitor incorporated into the windscreen. Such a car wil naturally have sophisticated sensors with panoramic view cameras connected to navigation and auto-parking systems. The maximum speed will be 90 km/h and a fuel distance of 180 km on one battery charge.
