SiriusXM-owned Pandora has teamed up with music streaming platform SoundCloud to launch 'The Lookout by Soundcloud' -- a brand new Pandora station dedicated to up-and-coming hip-hop artists.
The new platform, which is said to showcase "hip hop superstars of tomorrow," will feature a new set of artists every week. Some standout names already revealed include Metro Marrs, Sheff G, Toosii $NOT, Flo Milli, Isaiah Rashad, Sleepy Rose, Nevi, and more.
The new platform comes from one of SoundCloud's already existing playlists called 'The Lookout,' which became one of the most popular destinations for discovering new hip hop music on the site. "Joining forces with Pandora to expand 'The Lookout by SoundCloud' amps up our shared commitment to help the emerging hip-hop artist community to get heard and discovered," said Caiaffa, Interim Head of Music at SoundCloud.
