The Sony MDR-NC200D Provides the Ultimate Listening Experience

There are a ton of noise-canceling headphones on the market, but none will quite match up to the technical monstrosity that is the Sony MDR-NC200D.

Design-wise, the Sony MDR-NC200D is a overhead style with 40mm driver units. So what makes this pair of headphones so different and special from the others? For one, Sony promises that this will reduce 98.2% of external noise, which is more than impressive already. The crème de la crème, however, is a technology that the company calls AI Mode. According to Akihabaranews, this will actually "scan the ambient noise profile" and then "automatically select the best mode to cancel out the highest amount of unwanted sound." So not only do users get noise reduction, but they get it based on the environment the headphones adjust to!

The headphones cost 19,000 yen (around $247 USD), but it's going to be worth it.
