I can't help but be intrigued by the new Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman phone. The phone is designed for audiophiles, letting you sing karaoke, search for songs by their chorus and song identifier.
The karaoke function displays the songs lyrics onscreen and lowers the vocals so that you can rock out to anytime, anywhere. The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman phone also features a program called Zappin, which seeks out the choruses of songs and plays them for you, letting you decided whether you like the song enough to download it or not.
On the phone side of things the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman phone is all-business. The phone is Android-powered and has a 3-inch touchscreen and 3-megapixel camera. While this phone doesn't exactly seem like an iPhone killer, it could be an interesting contender, especially if it's priced right. No details with regards to a release date or price yet, but Sony Ericsson has said that this phone will drop sometime in the third quarter of 2011.
