Impersonating Earbud Ads

The Sony Earphone Campaign Centers Around Musical Icons

The Sony Earphone campaign cleverly shows the sound quality of this product. It is almost as if the artist a person is listening to at the moment is singing directly in their ears -- live. The print ads illustrate this by having the earbuds impersonate iconic musicians including Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley and even Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Conceived and executed by Welcomm Publicis Worldwide, an ad agency based in Seoul, South Korea, the Sony Earphone campaign is fun to look at, which will guarantee that it will stand out wherever it is placed, be it the pages of a magazine or the platform of a subway stop. Photographed by In-guy Hwang, the Sony Earphone campaign was creative directed by Yanghun Kim.
