Quirky Backdrop Lookbooks

The Sonia by Sonia Rykiel FW14 Catalog is Youthfully Sophisticated

The Sonia by Sonia Rykiel FW14 style book is full of a quirky energy that is due as much to the playful backdrop as to the colorful outfits put on display. Inspired by the prints and patterns of the fashion designs, especially the stripes, the set of the photoshoot is rife with random paper and plexiglass props. Yet for all of its youthfulness, the looks are predominantly chic and sophisticated.

Designed by Bonsoir Paris, who also directed the accompanying fashion film and the runway show, the Sonia by Sonia Rykiel FW14 style book was shot by photographer Kaname Onoyama. According to the designers, "Taking the strong identity and codes of the brand, the installations were inspired from Japanese minimalism and vitality."
