Mexican Hat-Inspired Salvers

The Sombrerou Dish is Made for Olives and Their Pits

Made for olives, the Sombrerou Dish is inspired by the traditional Mexican sombrero. Aside from the obvious differences in size and material, the Sombrerou Dish boasts one key difference that adds a practical application that many people will appreciate. The tip of the salver has been lopped off to provide the perfect place to hide away olive pits once they have been eaten. Of course, it can be a receptacle for other discards such as seeds and stems.

Designed by Mauricio Lara, the Sombrerou Dish is an exclusive product made for Museum of Modern Art. Made out of white ceramic, it can only be washed by hand. It is great for themed parties as well as regular get togethers.
