Pothos is Set to Debut Solein-Based Protein Powders in the US Market

Pothos is set to introduce one of the first US consumer products featuring Solein by incorporating the innovative protein into its PRVL protein powder line in early 2026. The powders will remain vegan, non-GMO, and free from common allergens, making the label simple yet highly nutritious.

Solein, developed by Solar Foods, is a sustainable protein created from carbon dioxide and electricity through a single-microbe fermentation process. Rich in iron, fiber, and B vitamins, it can serve as a versatile protein source for a range of foods. Following Solein’s recent regulatory approvals in the US, this collaboration marks a key step in Solar Foods’ expansion into the American market.

Pothos plans to release a limited run of these non-dairy, gluten-free, and soy-free protein powders under its refreshed PRVL brand, giving consumers early access to one of the first Solein-powered products available in the U.S.
