Zero-Emission Solar Yachts

The Solarwave 62 Features a Vast Photovoltaic Array

The Solarwave 62 is a new zero emission solar yacht that was conceived and created by Turkish shipyard Nedship in partnership with Solarwave. The technology for the concept has been tested for around four years now, with the first Solarwave 62 set to be completed in the very near future.

This yacht's roof features a 15-Kilowatt photovoltaic array, with the number of batteries changeable depending on the owner's needs. The system can provide enough energy for the yacht to move on zero emissions while powering appliances.

The Solarwave 62 is expected to be ready in the coming months and will cost no more than $2.5 million. This allows the yacht to offer better value than conventional yachts at the similar price point.
