Apple is at it once again, this time applying for a patent to create a solar-powered iPhone to add to their continuing domination of the technology world. The eco-friendly phone is not the first time solar power has been used in mobile phones, but it is the first time we've seen a stock solar-powered iPhone.
The solar iPhone will actually have collection cells to harness the sun's power within the body of the phone rather than placing solar panels on its exterior. The solar-powered iPhone will still retain its classic iPhone shape, but it will be powered by natural energy instead. Pretty rad!
