‘Soaked in Bleach’ is an upcoming docudrama that reexamines the death of Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain, using official case files, real video recordings and expert testimonies. The film acts as an informative and dramatic reenactment of the aftermath surrounding Cobain’s death.
The docudrama even includes interviews with private investigator Tom Grant, who was involved in the original investigation. Cobain’s death was ruled as a suicide by the police from a self-inflicted gunshot wound but there has always been doubts as to whether this conclusion was legitimate or not. Mr. Grant did his own investigation and found enough evidence to propose that Cobain’s death may very well have been a result of foul play, rather than a suicide.
Directed by Benjamin Statler, ‘Soaked in Bleach’ is set to be released this year and it aims to illuminate the suspicious behind the death of a true grunge rock icon.
