The Snoop Lion Reincarnated Documentary Presents a New Snoop Dogg

The Snoop Lion Reincarnated documentary follows the unexpected emotional transition from one of hip-hop's legends.

VICE documents Snoop Dogg's removal from the rap game stating that he no longer wants to rap about guns, gangs and crime, but instead begins to embrace Rastafarian culture. Moving his album recording to Jamaica with producer Diplo, Snoop Dogg begins to create reggae-infused music. Over the course of the film Snoop reincarnates himself into Snoop Lion looking to spread positivity in the world.

The powerful film seems to trace the evolution of an artist after years in the music industry. Even more so the film is a mix between a coming of age and a midlife crisis.

The Snoop Lion Reincarnated documentary is premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2012.
