These incredible sneakers by Z Kong feature a rippled design that reminds me of the rings on a very old tree. The designer says that the inspiration for this unusual footwear was the prompt "children of the sun." While no other direction is given, I'm sticking with my arboreal theme, as trees are the classic children of the sun.
