The 'SMOQUIT' Supports Those Looking to Quick Smoking

The conceptual 'SMOQUIT' is a health-focused solution for those who are looking to quit smoking in a way that is supportive and also beneficial for the community.

The system works with the device itself that requires users to breathe into it each day to detect if they have smoked in the past 24 hours. The accompanying app will then donate $10 to charity if tobacco use is detected or, if smoking has been avoided for a week, will have a tree planted in the person's name.

The conceptual 'SMOQUIT' is the design work of Chenkai Zhang and YuChun Tam, and could work to drastically increase a person's ability to quit smoking in a way that is encouraging and socially beneficial.
