The Smart Cooking System Lists Recipes Based on the Placed Produce

While most smart cooking gadgets use technology to make preparing meals at home easier, this display would be best utilized at the grocery store. Based out of the Netherlands, Studio Diip designed the Vegetable Recognizer to offer recipes based on the produce you place on the smart surface. Using image recognition, this system can instantly identify the vegetables you put down on it and then lists recipes that contain those foods.

Without scanning codes or needing tags, this smart cooking device consists of a projection screen that works with any flat surface. An overhead webcam names the produce you place on it, and can even recognize multiple ingredients at once.

In addition to helping shoppers at grocery stores, this platform could also help chefs create dishes based on what they already have.
