Slush Brand ICEE Launched in the UK with a Humorous Animated Campaign

Renowned American slush brand ICEE recently launched its products in the UK with a patriotic and humorous animated campaign that was created by Quiet Storm. The company was founded in 1950 and built its reputation for being the world's first carbonated slushie. The animation features the American flag, a bald eagle, and the Statue of Liberty to symbolize the brand's roots.

Jon Howard, Planning Director at Quiet Storm said: "We were challenged with launching a brand that was the largest of its kind in the USA, but almost completely unknown to UK audiences. We, therefore, centered on ICEE’s heritage and created an all American, larger-than-life, campaign that dramatizes the taste hit that ICEE delivers." The campaign features a voice over by American actor Andrew Anthony, who is well-known as the voice of EA Sports.

ICEE's new bright and bold animated campaigns will run online and in cinemas.
